Fall in Love With Functionality
As the days get shorter and the gatherings get bigger, the kitchen becomes the ultimate base of the home. The room that takes the most wear and clutter can quickly happen. But it doesn’t have to be that way. A well-designed kitchen will be beautiful and hard-working at the same time, and with today’s storage options it makes it easy to have both. That’s when you really fall in love with your kitchen, and it comes down to functionality. Here are some of our favorite storage solutions that we recommend again and again.
Corner Storage Systems
Corner cabinets have long been the most frustrating spot in the kitchen, the spot where you need to get on your hands and knees to find that specific dish hidden in the far back corner. Corner solutions can turn that awkward space into one of the most well organized cabinets in the kitchen.

Lemans: Bean-shaped shelves swing out and glide forward in one smooth motion, bringing everythin in the cabinet to you. This option eliminates bending, reaching, and digging.

Lazy Susans or Super Susans as we call them: This is a fresh take on a classic and one of our most popular corner solutions. These pie-cut wood trays mount to the shelf instead of a center pole, so larger items finally fit, and smaller items are easy to find with a quick spin. For the full effect, add integrated interior lighting so you can always see what you’re looking for.
Appliance Garages
Stand mixers, air fryers, coffee makers, toasters; we love all the gadgets that make cooking and baking easier, but they have a way of taking over the whole counter leaving minimal space for prep and cleaning. An appliance garage gives them a dedicated home so your prep space stays clear and your counters stay calm.

Pocket Door: One of our most popular choices of appliance garages. Closed, the doors blend right in with the rest of your cabinetry. Open, they slide back into the cabinet and out of the way, giving you full access to everything inside.

Lift-up: This option is perfect for when you don’t have space width-wise for pocket doors, a lift-up cabinet helps in the same way as a pocket door. One easy motion raises the door up and out of the way.

Bi-fold: This option is ideal for wide appliance cabinets. Like a bifold closet door, it folds open and closed on a track to hide everything in seconds.
Pull-outs
Pull-outs are among the most common features we build, and for good reason. They end the routine of bending, reaching, and unloading half a cabinet to get at something in the back.

Panty pull-outs: The is the answer for tall, deep cabinets, nothing gets lost at the back of the pantry anymore. In our cabinetry line they are highly customizable to your needs: you choose how many pullouts, how tall they are, and where they are spaced in the cabinet.

Spice and shelf pull-outs: A smart, sleek home for the things you use most frequently while cooking like spices and oils. Adjustable shelves within the pull-out keeps everything in view and easily accessible.

Garbage and recycling pull-outs: It’s not often we design a kitchen without the garbage pull-out anymore, they are the most requested features. Choose the number and size of bins to suit your family’s needs and your space allowance. For extra function, add a drawer on top or tuck an interior pull-out out of sight for garbage bag storage or a paper towel holder.
Inserts & Dividers
Great organization starts with making your everyday doors and drawers work harder. Inserts and dividers turn a standard cabinet into something beautiful and genuinely useful.

Knife block and cutlery dividers: Every knife, fork, spoon, and other daily utensils gets a place of its own

Utensil dividers: Skip the countertop canister that eats up space and tips over. Our large utensil dividers let you pick the number of dividers to suit your needs.

Tray dividers: A great fit for slim base cabinet, fridge cabinets (a fan favorite!), or any deep cabinet. Our dividers slide in and out on a peg system, so the space adapts to whatever you need to store. Perfect for baking sheets, serving platters, and pizza pans.
The best time to choose your storage is early in the design process. When you work with our designers we help plan for how you actually cook, entertain, and move through your kitchen.
