For this project the goal was to create a design that balanced modern touches with the home’s traditional character. One of the standout features? The custom tambour door cabinets: This statement piece not only adds texture and visual interest but also cleverly conceals an AC wall unit.
To add a playful pop of personality, the homeowners selected vibrant tile accents that bring energy to the space without overwhelming it. Paired with the Vecchio glass and a dark wood finish, these details create a perfect balance of classic and contemporary. The darker wood tones echo the traditional charm of the rest of the house, while the modern elements—like the tambour doors and colorful tiles—keep the design fresh and sophisticated.
